Frontal Lobe ADHD Solutions is an Executive Function Coaching and consulting organization dedicated to supporting families, students and young adults to develop the structures, habits, and skills essential to build independence and confidence in academia and beyond.

The Assessment

​The coach arranges a conference with the parent/student to get to know the child and family, assess the kinds of challenges he or she is having with academics, emotionally and socially.    

Common problems include difficulty completing work (both classwork and homework), producing sloppy work, disrupting the class by talking or interrupting, and failing to remember homework assignments or to bring home everything needed to complete homework.  All of this may be accompanied by frustration, withdrawal and/or acting out.

The Personalized Plan

The coach will provide the parent and child with a Personalized Self Management Plan to increase productivity while building strength and confidence.  It will include identified behaviors for improvement along with suggested action plans and the time commitment recommended.

The Coaching

The real work begins once the coaching begins. The coach and student will meet for 60-minute sessions and/or 30-minute check-in via video conference or phone or a combination of both.  The coach will present new structures and skill to address the identified behaviors for improvement. Together coach and student will work through potential challenges and strategies to overcome them.  Every session will end with specific actions the student will be accountable for by the next session.  The check-ins are designed to keep students on track and celebrate progress towards Self Management mastery!
